A roof replacement booked at short notice over the holidays turned out to be considerably more work than expected — four separate layers of shingle had accumulated and all of it needed to come off. Rain was forecast for the following day.

Strip all four layers, deck inspected, and the new roof finished the same day. The crew stayed late rather than leave a house open ahead of the weather.
